Museum

I'm walking through a museum.
The pieces around me... I suppose they're meant to constitue art.
Abstract, brutalist shapes, ill-conceived children of the so-called modern movement.
The building itself feels half-constructed, so dominated by windows instead of walls as it is.
Other patrons stroll past, eyeing the pieces on the wall and about the floor with passing interest.
It doesn't seem much more popular with them than it is with me.
They aren't even bothering to pull out their phones to take pictures, as they're usually wont to do.
I find myself wondering why I even bothered to come to this museum in the first place.
Whatever I'm looking for is certainly located elsewhere.
